What is Machine Learning?
As we have earlier discussed in Scope of Data Mining and What is Data Mining, we have got basic knowledge of data mining. Now We are going to touch in with Machine Learning. Mostly Machine Learning Focuses on Designing Algorithm for Data Science those can be used for Automatic Learning from Current Data and Also used for Prediction. Means Machine Learning Algorithm are used for Automated Learning and Prediction purposes. Learning Method in Machine Learning can be categorized in Three Category.
- Supervised Learning
- Unsupervised Learning and
- Semi Supervised Learning
Supervised Learning : Supervised Learning Method is a method which has Labeled data for training purpose, and it is trying to get some specific target for every input. If target for input are some specific classes then it is classification problem and if target is continuous then it is regression problem. In short supervised learning you have rich training dataset that has labels.
Unsupervised Learning : In Unsupervised Learning is a method in which you don’t have labeled training dataset. Mostly this method is used for detecting patterns from Data or Relation between Input Data, Not for getting specific target.
Semi Supervised Learning : When you have data that has Less Labeled Data and More Unlabeled data then Semi Supervised Method Can be used. Mostly is used to define the labels of Unlabeled based on Trained Labeled Dataset
